Project: Transitional Contemporary Music Room, Dining Room, Family Room, Kitchen
Location: Southwest Ranches, FL
Our clients had a specific request for their living room – they wanted their Baby Grand piano to be the centerpiece of the room. With this request in mind, I knew I had to create a design that would not only showcase the piano but also create a dramatic and elegant atmosphere.
To achieve their desired look, I decided to go with a theatrical theme. We installed stunning floor-to-ceiling black drapes with beautiful, embroidered banding on the sides, which added a touch of drama to the space. We kept a neutral palette to highlight the unique and sculptural furniture pieces and let them speak for themselves. From the oversize stunning wall art that looked like a piece of burled wood with a black and gold leaf finish to the elegant solid brass floor lamp with a light bronze finish and granite base, all the furniture pieces were selected to balance and enhance the color scheme of the room.
Of course, next to a music room, a Bar area is a must-have. The built-in bar, designed with a weave pattern marble as a focal point, not only met my client’s needs but also looked exceptional. The beauty of the marble was not taken away by the design of the bar, and it was still the star of the space.
Exquisite dining room with a spacious table designed for 9 people. The stunning combination of shimmery vinyl and chic geometric patterns creates a modern and elegant ambiance.
